With bridge replacement on the I&O Urbana Sub. 401 is now a common sight in downtown Springfield. Headed for the Back door to the DT&I.

I&O 401 is crossing Buck Creek on an old wooden trestle. In a mile the train will stop and make a crew change.

8480 is leased to the I&O. Units were working cars for the I&O pig iron train to Delta, from the barge transloading facility next to the Ohio River.
